Luther Bible text taken from the 1912 edition. This is the Martin Luther translation of both Old and New Testaments from Hebrew and Greek into the German language. Luther edited his own translations multiple times during his lifetime; after his death this task was left to the preferences of the printer. Only after the last years of the nineteenth century did the church officially check and improve this text. Its first revision appeared in 1892; the second in 1912.
